Where is the Flag?

James loves the Pillsbury place-and-bake cookies imprinted with a holiday design. Baking these cookies is part of his schedule when he stays the night at my house. Friday night James and I ran to Dahl's to get his cookies and a few other items. James can find Pillsbury holiday cookies at any grocery store within seconds so when it took him longer than two seconds to locate them, I knew something was wrong. James asked me "Where is the flag?" He wanted Pillsbury Flag Shape Cookies for Memorial Day and no other cookies were going to suffice. James is very brand loyal and patriotic, obviously. I decided to continue the search at the Euclid Hy-Vee where James found his beloved Pillsbury Flag Shape Cookies. Crisis averted!

Why "Baby Steps"?

"What About Bob?" is a Boland family favorite. The main character in the movie is Bob Wiley, a multiphobic psychiatric patient who has difficulty leaving his own apartment. Dr. Leo Marvin, Bob's therapist, recommends his self-help book, "Baby Steps", to Bob. "Baby Steps" is "about setting small reasonable goals for yourself. One day at a time. One tiny step at a time."  And like Bob, James is doing the work, he is not a slacker!
